Anneloes Leijssen is a Dutch communications specialist with over a decade of experience across diverse sectors including corporations, agencies, government bodies, non-profits, and institutions.

In 2023, Anneloes founded 'hu|em,' starting as a freelance communications and PR specialist. hu|em specializes in building meaningful connections and improving; gender equality, health, education, and the creative sector - through a personal, human-to-human approach.

 

For the past seven years, she has been working to improve gender equality by co-founding 'Lean In Penang,' a women empowerment initiative, and promoting the arts and culture in this vibrant area.

Anneloes graduated with a Bachelor's degree in communication sciences and a Master's degree in popular culture and media entertainment from the University of Amsterdam. She continued her education at the University of Copenhagen with a specialization in converging media and women in media.
