Anneloes Leijssen is a creative strategist and communications advisor with over 15 years of experience, working internationally from Penang, Malaysia.
She initiates and leads programs in culture, sustainability, gender equality and public health. Guided by a strong creative vision and committed to (cross-cultural) collaboration, she empowers organizations and individuals to strengthen their identity, reach and impact.
Working across Europe and Asia, she provides strategic positioning, public engagement, campaigns and media relations.
As co-founder of Open Studios Penang, Malaysia’s largest open studios art event, she established a welcoming, inclusive platform that brings artists and audiences together.
Anneloes is also co-founded Lean In Network Penang. Where she developed programs that support women’s leadership and career advancement.
She holds a Master’s in Communications Science and Popular Culture from the University of Amsterdam, with a major in Media Studies completed at the University of Copenhagen.
